Pokémon GO New Event Will Be Fantastic ?

While the introduction of Legendary Raids has been loads of fun, it’s been a while since we’ve had a Pokémon Go event. Well, the wait is over as Pokémon Go plans to kick off the coming equinox! The weather’s getting cooler up North and a little warmer down South, which means both are in the perfect temperature range for some walking. After what feels like an eternity of raiding, we’re finally getting a good old fashioned Pokémon GO event! This one is called the “Pokémon Go Equinox event”, and from what we can tell, it’s going to be a good one.

Kicking off at 1 PM PDT on the 22nd of September, the Pokémon GO Equinox event has four main features. First of all, we’re getting double Stardust from every Pokémon that is caught or hatched during the event. Second, we’ll be able to obtain “special” 2km eggs from Poke Stops and Gyms, which will have rare Pokémon inside. And as long as we’re walking, we might as well make the most of it with some awesomely egg-citing perks!

Bonuses:

  • X2 Stardust for catching, hatching – and most likely feeding
  • Special 2km Eggs that hatch Chansey, Lavitar, and Mareep
  • X3 EXP for New Pokémon Bonus
  • Special Boxes (In-Game Store) that give Lucky Eggs, Lures & SUPER INCUBATORS!
  • Now Super Incubators were an item that was found in the coding a few weeks ago in late August, and as we suspected, Super Incubators will reduce the hatch time of eggs, making hatching 1.5 times faster! Though most notably in that update was also the coding for more Shiny Effects and 3rd Generation Pokémon. Does that mean Pokémon Go plans to roll out Gen 3 ahead of schedule in the coming weeks? Time will tell, but for now, let’s focus on the Event at hand!

Additionally, with the Equinox Event, the New Pokémon Bonus will come in handy as Mewtwo Raids are slowly becoming more open to players. Though beyond that, the special 2km Eggs will help players acquire the super rare Ampharos (Mareep’s final evolution) and Blissey (Chansey’s even bulkier evolution).

Though the biggest draw will happen at the tail end of this event as after September 30th, the Legendary Dogs/ Beasts will switch locations giving players a chance to catch something completely new to their region! So stock up on your incubators and get your walking shoes out because it’s about to be a fun week and a half!

Are you guys excited for this amazing doubly bubbly event? Lemme hear you out in the comment or you can get connected with me on Snapchat-Vibsz16 and Instagram. Stay tuned.
