PokemonGO: Introduce a Daily Raid Streak?

Remember those early days of Pokemon Go when the game was all in, and everyone was talking about the game. After the game slowly lost its popularity and things started to slow down a little bit, Niantic came up with this new strategy of rewarding trainers to visit Pokestops.

Although at that time the concept was already suggested among various Pokemon Go discussion communities (including ours) Niantic showed the world what could be done with daily rewards. Now after a year, this daily rewards thing seems just an obvious thing, and people tend to ignore the fact that, once we didn’t have something like that.

Thanks to a summer full of exciting announcements like the Gym Rework and Raids, Raids have gone mainstream, it is the only thing worthwhile spending time on the app. Raids have become a quintessential part of the Pokemon Go experience.

Ok now moving onto the main subject of this post? We would like to brainstorm ideas about the possibility of having a Raid Streak just like how we have for “First Pokestop of the Day” and “First Catch of the Day” how would it be if we had a “First Raid of the Day”?

I for one, think that this is not a bad idea, but still, it has certain downsides to it though. Hear me out, folks. You I have personally seen people care less about raids unless and until they are some really cool ones like Rhydon, Tyranitar or a legendary Raid, people tend to skip lower tier Raids in favor of higher tier raids just so they can enjoy the reward of catching a strong and rare Pokemon.

Also, there is another factor that is to be considered, many of the free to play trainers, raid on alternate days Saving up their Free Raid Passes, to do two higher tier raids instead of just one. For any game or any app out there, the majority of the user base is a free-to-use user base and not paying customers.

So introducing a Raid Streak might not make that of a big impact compared to that of “First Pokestop of the Day” and “First Catch of the Day” I’m pretty sure, you must be having something to say to this let us know in the comments section, views with maximum likes (reactions) get extra brownie points! Cheers, and have a great day!
