New Square Enix Survival Shooter Game Announced For 2018 And It Looks Promising

Tokyo Game Show excited gamers all over the world, with some big announcements. Definitely, one of the biggest and most surprising of them all was a completely new game from Square Enix with potential to become a huge success. A New Survival Shooter game, called Left Alive, is in works.

Further information on the game from the press release, after the reveal, suggests that Left Alive will be out sometime in 2018. The Game will be available available on the platforms of PC (Steam) and Sony’s very one PlayStation 4.

A minute long trailer for Left Alive was also revealed during the conference. From the trailer, it looks like the game is set in a destroyed city, where mech suits are being choppered in.

Apparently, the game is set sometime into the future, where the usage of mechs is utilized in warfare. We’ve only received this small teaser so far, that’s all. But, we’ll have more details on it soon.

While there may not be much to get excited about from this game yet, you should know that some famous names are said to be working on the game. Yoji Shinkawa, who is a character designer, and has previous worked on famous game series such as Metal Gear Solid 4 and 5, where he played a huge role as the art, character, and mech designer for the series.

He is also responsible for the art of Left Alive, and it is strikingly similar to Metal Gear Solid. This has gotten the PS4 fans hyped for the game, even though it has just been announced.

Takayuki Yanase, who has previously worked as a mech designer on Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Xenoblade Chronicles X, is said to be involved in the project as well.

Shinji Hashimoto is the producer for the series. The Director for Left Alive, Toshifumi Nabeshima, is known for directing the Armored Core series of mech combat games by FromSoftware. This indicates usage of High level mech in Left Alive, which is apparent from the teaser trailer.
